Spring is a great season to be married. The sun is shining, flowers blooming and the mood is always cheerful and merry. Unlike any other season, this time of the year calls for new and spring-friendly wardrobe. If you are getting married this time of the year, you may want to consider these trends for Spring 2010 in choosing your wedding dress

Flowing and Sheer. For a wedding dress that reflects the spring season, light and airy fabrics are ideal. Organza and chiffon fabrics are best. A simple spaghetti-strap flowing wedding dress made out of sheer materials looks best against the spring breeze, making any bride look fresh, young and simply radiant.

Flowers, of course. What is spring without flowers? A wedding dress embroidered with floral patterns just shouts spring all around. You can also complement a spring garden setting with a floral-embellished dress. Nature-inspired elements definitely provide color to whimsy sheaths and ball gowns alike. Wear an airy A-line dress with floral add-ons on the bodice and waistline, or tone it down with a lightly floral-embellished sweep train for a subtle (yet distinct) spring style.

Take cover. Daytime wedding can fully enjoy the comfortable heat of spring, however nighttime or late afternoon weddings can experience a bit of cold breeze. Instead of a wrap or a shawl , you can try using a sophisticated cashmere cardigan instead . Three-quarter sleeves or even a full-length cover-up will keep you warm without distracting from your gown.

Show some legs. Spring is the perfect time to show your long beautiful legs, even on your wedding dress! Let your legs bask in some of that spring sunlight. With short gowns becoming ever more popular on the bridal gown trends, what better way to show off toned and tanned legs than a short wedding dress.
